Abstract
Kovo mėnesį Lietuvos architektų sąjungos rūmuose buvo atidaryta Lietuvos aukštųjų architektūros mokyklų studentų piešinių konkurso paroda „Ateities architektūra“. Konkursą inicijavo ir pirmą kartą surengė VGTU Architektūros fakulteto Dailės katedros vedėjas doc. dr. Audrius Novickas.

The drawing exhibition of students of Lithuanian higher education institutions of architecture “Architecture of the Future” took place at the building of Lithuanian Union of Architects. The Commission, comprising the most prominent representatives of Lithuanian artists and architects, selected the winners. Justina Tautvydaitė and Aušra Česnauskytė, the students of the Faculty of Architecture of VGTU shared the second and third places. “I imagine the Apocalypse, when cities are expanding until merged into a single jungle of concrete because of the abundance of population. Thus, there are no people, loving nature, because nobody knows what it looks like. Neither they have a “breathing period” from the concrete daily routine, nor have beautiful traditions, connecting the community. There is nothing natural and sacred, because they lost everything. It makes no sense to read “Anykščių šilelis”, because forests disappeared long ago,” – says Justė Tautvydaitė. According to Aušra Česnauskytė, her drawing reveals the idea that people should control the architecture, and should not use anything premature or without reason. In her opinion, the architecture will fully serve the needs of people, even by playing tricks on the laws of physics in the future.
