Penkiasdešimtmetė katedra savo darbus skiria Lietuvos miestų plėtrai
Abstract
Spalio 2 d. VGTU Miestų statybos katedra paminėjo 50 savo gyvavimo metų. Į iškilmingą šios progos minėjimą Vilniaus Rotušėje susirinko 48 laidų absolventai, buvę ir esami dėstytojai, universiteto bei daugelio su miestų valdymu susijusių institucijų vadovai. Miestų statybos katedra per savo penkių dešimtmečių veiklos laikotarpį parengė daugiau kaip 2 700 civilinės inžinerijos specialistų – inžinierių, bakalaurų, magistrų. Minint sukaktį, buvo išleistas specialus leidinys „Miestų statybos katedra 1965–2015“, kuriame apžvelgiama ilgametė katedros studijų ir mokslo istorija. The Department of Urban Engineering of VGTU celebrated its fifty years of activities in October. Department alumni of forty-eight years, past and present teachers, leaders of the university and other institutions, involved in urban management, gathered at Vilnius City Hall for the commemoration of this occasion. During five decades of the activities of the Department of Urban Engineering, the teachers have prepared more than two thousand seven hundred civil engineering specialists – Engineers, Bachelors and Masters. Noting the great anniversary, they published a special edition of “The Department of Urban Engineering 1965-2015”, providing a long-term history overview of studies and science of the department.
