The monograph prepared by the group of researchers examines the problem of improving the transformation of business models in clusters. The importance of this issue is manifested in the fact that in the conditions of globalization, with increasing international competition, there is a need to improve business models focused on international value chains, to transform them taking into account the challenges posed by digitization, the circular economy and the green deal, the impact of which on the transformation of business models in clusters has not yet been holistically examined. The monograph summarizes the authors’ long-term research related to the evolution of cluster business models in the context of digital transformation, circular economy and the European Green Deal. Holistic paradigms formed on the basis of research, that clusters are groups of companies, organizations or other competitive entities operating in a certain geographical region or economic sector, are considered a form of business organization that increases business productivity in modern economic conditions, promotes innovative new partnerships even between competitors and significantly expands business opportunities as it allows participating entities to share resources, develop new technologies and benefit from synergies in implementing projects that promote knowledge development, dissemination and innovation. The material of the monograph can be used both in institutions performing the functions of state management and in business organizations, especially in improving the business development policy for the creation and activation of a stable and competitive economy, and in making effective managerial and economic decisions related to international development, conditioned by profound phenomena occur- ring in the economy and in society due to the use of digital technologies and trends in the formation of sustainable economic systems. The material of the monograph should be used in studies conducted at universities and other higher education institutions, primarily in economic and managerial profile study programs. The material of the monograph is also intended to familiarize specialists working in the management and administration, business sectors with new theoretical approaches to the patterns of evolution of cluster business models in the context of digital transformation, circular economy and the European Green Deal.
