Abstract

The Faculty of Business Management, established in 1993, was the first such faculty in Lithuania. Today, the Faculty of Business Management has become the leader among business schools in the Baltic States as well as in other countries. For many years, the study programmes remain the most popular among the students, enrolling to the institutions of higher education. We offer not only ordinary study programmes, but also innovative ones, such as Engineering, Economics, Financial Engineering, Business Logistics, Business Analysis, and Organisation Management. The Faculty has a strong teachers’ team of more than 150 academics and practitioners, sharing with their students both modern scientific and theoretical knowledge, and practical skills. We have already educated a plenty of good business leaders, Ministers and even Prime Ministers, so we believe that in the future we will be among the leaders of Lithuanian education. We are going to continue the development of these three main activities: high-quality three-cycle studies, advanced scientific research and active cooperation with business enterprises.
