Abstract
Ką reiškia mūsų mylimųjų žvilgsniai, paslaptinga vadovo šypsena ar į valdžią atėjusi nauja politinė partija?.. „Mes visi esame filosofai, nes visi keliame tuos pačius pamatinius klausimus.

Philosophy has probably never been popular in Lithuania... According to Prof. Tomas Kačerauskas, he sometimes feels as if talking to the wind. We asked the philosopher, whether Philosophy is one of the most popular of Applied Sciences, and if all people are secret philosophers, especially when things go wrong.“Of course,” says Prof. Tomas Kačerauskas, the head of the Department of Philosophy and Political Science, “all of us raise the same fundamental questions both overtly and covertly. Perhaps this is the distinction between a professional philosopher and an amateur one, as the first raises an issue overtly, while the other does this covertly, without sharing his or her ideas even with their own relatives. While the professional philosopher proclaims about the issue from the housetops.” Philosophy, according to Professor Tomas Kačerauskas, as a certain way of perceiving the world, is indispensable even at a technical university.
