Įsimintiniausi universiteto dešimtmečio įvykiai
Abstract
Eight modern Bachelor’s and eleven Master’s degree programmes, in accordance with all IT directions, as well as Biotechnology Informatics, Applied Mathematics and Statistics, are implemented at the University. The challenge for us is to modernise these programmes to the international level. The graduates of the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences are successfully managing or working at computer science or biotechnology companies in Lithuania, as well as making international careers. The number of graduates in Engineering Informatics study programme of our Faculty is the largest, though computer science studies at our University have been started later as compared with other universities. We are happy that now the children of our first graduates are the students of Engineering Informatics. We hope that we will have the dynasties of VGTU Informatics and Bioengineers, and our alumni will be proud to be the graduates of the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences of VGTU.
