The appearance of a gray - greenish film on the lead junctions of monument have been investigated by X-ray methode. Its chemical compositions is hydrocerussite, calcite and mineral which is similar to a plumbonacrite, but the exact correlation of lead, CO3 and water is unknown. The authors explain the appearance of the film by the infiltration of water with lime in the seam and by the reaction between lead and lime. And this is the result of: a) the strong pressure of the water from the hardening concrete. During the buildings a stone facing served as a shell for the concrete of the monument core. Because of it the water could go away only through the seams, sweeping away the whole hermetic though very qualitative one. b) the seam showed that the hermetic VVS did not hardened elsewhere. It may be caused by vacuum appearance in the seam or by unfavourable conditions for its hardening (humidity, pH and etc.). We think that the film on the monument stone is the result of the illconsidered technology of works, rush and the unproper selection of cement.
