dc.description.abstractThe problems of creating buildings with efficient lifetime has been analyzed with special emphasis on their maintenance. First, the principles of a complex analysis, functional considerations, cost-benefit ratio optimization, interrelation of sciences, mathematical simulation, etc. had been analysed which enabled the authors to workout various systems of decision-making. In this paper, one of these systems, - „Housing Refurbishment Decision-Making“, is described at length. Also, some ways of achieving more efficient lifetime of a building, with special emphasis on its maintenance are presented.eng
