Toks skirtumas nedaro įtakos galutiniam sistemos darbui. Kita vertus, naudojant DNT prognozavimas atliekamas apie 3000 kartų greičiau nei tradiciniais metodais. Gyroelectric waveguides with or without external layers are usually investigated using traditional analytical and numerical methods. Computation time of this kind of gyroelectric waveguides might take the significant period of time by using one of these traditional methods. The calculation time may have a lot of influence to the overall investigation time because module design and calculation may be necessary to repeat many times until the right model of gyroelectric waveguide will be found. The artificial neural networks (ANN) were adjusted for the investigation of gyroelectric n-GaAs waveguides in order to save investigation time in this paper. Differences between results, calculated with traditional and predicted with ANN methods, do not differ by more than 6.5% in our investigation. The input parameters of ANN are: type of external layer, temperature T and density of impurities N. The predicted parameters are: the central operating frequency fc, working frequency band Δf, wave attenuation coefficient αc and bandwidth δ. These differences do not affect the final operation of the waveguide. On the other hand prediction using ANN is performed about 3000 times faster than using traditional methods.
