Įsimintiniausi universiteto dešimtmečio įvykiai. Prof. dr. Romualdas Kliukas, studijų prorektorius
Abstract
The last decade formed new generations of students, and the demand for professionals in Lithuania has been dynamically changing, too. Therefore, our University has also expanded its study programmes: a decade ago, we carried out eighty-eight study programmes, while in 2016, we are offering one-hundred-ten study programmes for our students. Together with our social partners, we have developed the following first cycle programmes for our students: Entertainment Engineering, Software Engineering, Financial Engineering, Business Logistics and Analysis, Avionics, Mechatronics and Robotics, Industrial Design, Multimedia and Computer Graphics, Information Systems, Architectural Engineering. We have abandoned the study programmes, although promising, but not satisfying the expectations of our students. The establishment of joint study programmes has been a special event in the training process. Since 2011, our University has offered the first two joint study programmes, while this year, we have already started six such programmes – with German, Latvian, Belarussian and Russian universities.
