Nepakeliama architektūrinių kalvų lengvybė
Abstract
Architects like to use the term “architectural hills” while speeaking about the new center of Vilnius city where a cluster of highrise glass and cement boxes is located. Rather than praising this dissapointing and eclectic project that was triggered by interests of real estate market, the author analyzes why this attempt to modernize the central part of the city failed and why this area remains dead despite the attempts to locate city administration and big business in the area.
