This paper considers housing renovation from the perspective of the sustainable development. It integrates two main concepts: the concept of sustainable renovation and the concept of integrated knowledge management in renovation. The main purpose is to propose efficient IT based measures for renovation sustainability management. Paper consists of three parts: the first formulates the concept of sustainable renovation, the second presents the understanding of knowledge management in renovation and an integrated knowledge base model for sustainable housing renovation is created in the third. Knowledge base model proposed by authors integrates economic, technical, social and ecological needs of stakeholders, both explicit and implicit knowledge, covers of micro and macro environment conditions as well as building life cycle analysis. The model can be used for efficient multi-variant design of renovation projects and for multiple criteria analysis.eng
