| dc.description.abstract | The paper addresses several questions related to establishment and control of the quality of service (QoS) parameters in the land mobile networks. Several possible methodologies for QoS control are described and the way to reduce the number of practical field measurements is suggested. One of the proposed methodologies suggest a novel approach for QoS control by each personal mobile unit. This could be achieved through addition of special module to the mobile units and it could bring enormous benefits in terms of better assessment of individual QoS, including possible subsequent differentiation of user fees, etc. | eng |
