Abstract
Over time, the company developed a stable structure. Currently, it has two partners who oversee all the activities, but new architects are always needed; because the company continues to grow constantly. Of course, many people have come and gone and there were a lot of changes when we ourselves were unsure how everything should be organised. Now our architects are mostly permanent employees, they are part of the company. Over time, they have earned a lot of trust and now perform more and more tasks on their own. It’s the natural growth process: the larger the companies, the larger the projects and more responsibility lands on the shoulders of the employees. Recently, we have been working more with the educational typology, schools (e.g. the project Aikštelė (Pitch)). The field is full of challenges posed by various aspects due to the specifics of the public building typology, which entails various tasks for the architects. The way we see a contemporary school is so distant from what actually exists! And of course, our arduous efforts today are only the first steps towards that vision. I believe educational typology is an area where architects could really have a strong influence on the society.
