Real estate in the system of economic potential: East European transformations

Abstract
The Paper presents a formulation of the most significant principles concerning the investigation and problems of real estate development in the countries of Eastern Europe. The Paper points out that real estate is an important element of economic potential and exerts great influence on economic and social development of every country. The creation and modernisation of real estate acquire a priority significance in present conditions of transformations in East European countries: the development of real estate and the formation of real-estate market, like an important catalyser, affects the processes of social, economic and technological transformations in Eastern Europe; the formation of real-estate market promotes international economic integration. The development of real estate in Eastern Europe distinguishes itself by many peculiarities. Taking into consideration of these peculiarities is an important condition for appropriate management of real estate development processes in course of realisation of: systematic approach to the development of real estate and economic potential on the whole; innovations in the modernisation of real estate; efficient use of real estate; interconnection in the sphere of policy concerning the development of real estate with the policy of economic reforms on the whole; attitude towards professional skill and quality of training of personnel involved in the management of real estate. The investigation of real estate development in East European countries is an important and worth-while direction in scientific research. The Paper gives a rather detailed consideration of specific features peculiar to the investigations of real estate in Eastern Europe. The Paper describes urgent problems of scientific research in the field of real estate development.
 
Aptariama Lietuvai bei kitoms Rytų Europos šalims būdinga nekilnojamojo turto sistemos raidos problematika. Parodyta nekilnojamojo turto vieta ekonominio potencialo sistemoje, analizuojami nekilnojamojo turto kaip ekonominių bei vadybinių tyrimų objekto ypatumai. Išryškinti svarbiausieji dėsningumai, būdingi nekilnojamojo turto sistemos raidai socialinių ir ekonominių transformacijų sąlygomis, parodytos tolesnių tyrimų perspektyvos.
