Naujas jūrų muziejaus apdaras
Santrauka
Dar 1982 m. statytas Lietuvos jūrų muziejus rekonstruojamas iš pagrindų. Jo technologijų rekonstrukcija rūpinasi britų kompanija „Ocean“. Projektuojant (technologinės dalies projektuotojas „Kay Elliott architects“) paaiškėjo, kad moderniai baseino įrangai nepakanka vietos sename pastate, tad teko plėsti namą. Ši užduotis patikėta UAB „Vilniaus architektūros studija“ architektams V. Lukoševičiui (proj. vad.), K. Pempei ir V. Griciui, parengusiems centrinio pastato rekonstrukcijos priešprojektinius pasiūlymus. „Architektūrinė priestato idėja gimė žiūrint į istorinį Klaipėdos Kopgalio tvirtovės maketą, kuriame aiškiai matyti, kad atstatytas ir jūros muziejui pritaikytas pastato tūris anksčiau buvo juosiamas pylimo,“ – pasakoja projekto vadovas V. Lukoševičius. Tad rekonstrukcijos autoriai pasiūlė analogiškos formos priestatą, įvairius tūrius „uždengę“ sendinto vario žaliuzėmis. Pasak „Vilniaus architektūros studijos“ architektų, šis unikalus siluetą atkuriantis rekonstrukcijos sprendinys galėtų tapti papildoma edukacine medžiaga muziejaus lankytojams. Savo ruožtu, kūrėjų rastas būdas, kaip paslėpti nuo lankytojų akių tokią painią vidaus struktūrą apjuosiant pastatą „architektūriniu pylimu“, dar kartą įrodo – genialumas slypi paprastume. Lithuanian Sea Museum built in 1982 is being reconstructed; and British company Ocean is responsible for the reconstruction of the technological part. Kay Elliott architects working at the design of modern aquarium it becamme clear that there was not enough space for new technologies in the old building, therefore, the decision was made to expand the area. This task was entrusted into the hands of UAB Vilniaus Architektūros Studija architects V. Lukoševičius (project manager), K. Pempė and V. Gricius, who prepared preliminary designs for the reconstruction of the central building. „The architectural wing‘s idea formed while observing historical model of Klaipėda Kopgalis fortress, which clearly shows that reconstructed building, in which the Sea Museum is founded, earlier was surrounded by the rampart,“ the project manager V.Lukoševičius says. Thus, authors of the reconstruction proposed to add the wing of the same form and covered various details by blinds of aged copper. According to architects of Vilniaus Architektūros Studija, this unique reconstructional solution rebuilding former silhouette could become additional educational material for the museum‘s visitors. Also, creators‘ idea to surround the building with the „architectural rampart“ and, thus, hide confusing interior structure from the eyes of visitors proves once again that true genius lies in simplicity.
