dc.description.abstractCalcium aluminate cement (CAC) having Al2O3 ≥ 70%, with additives of nano graphene oxide solution (GOS) was prepared in this work. SEM, XRD, calorimetry, electrical conductivity measuring were used. Studies have shown that the addition of GOS has an effect on the hydration of CAC compared to the cement paste only with water. It was determined that the nano-graphene oxide affected a formation of crystal hydrates: in a cement stone with a nano-graphene oxide additive, the intensities of CAH10 hydrates are higher. It was determined that nano-graphene oxide affects CAC at the temperature of 20 oC as follows: the maximum of heat flow in cement paste with nano-graphene oxide suspension is fixed after 18.5 hours, i.e. 2.5 h earlier as compared to cement paste mixed with water. Electrical conductivity examination shows that the addition of GOS in the CAC suspension accelerates ion release.eng
