The article analyses the authors have developed a new method of thermo-friction cutting of metal workpieces with pulse cooling. Experimentally investigated the influence of cooling on the temperature in the cutting material and the dynamic hardness of the deformable layers, and the effect of cuts on the size of the Burr.
