Saulės elektrinės ir jų vystymosi perspektyvos
Santrauka
Every day, the sun produces enormous amounts of energy. This is the most powerful source of energy on the earth. The easiest way to turn solar energy into electricity is using of solar cells. With the constant growt h of heat prices, with the decreasing oil, gas and solid fuel resources due to the rapid increase in environmental pollution, Lithuania is increasingly focusing on solar energy as an alternative source of energy. The article presents the methods of obtaining electricity from solar energy. The principles and types of operation of solar cells are described. Solar power plants are described, their constituent parts and operating principles are presented. Possible options for installing solar cells are discussed. The advantages and disadvantages of solar power plants are presented. The potential prospects for the development of solar power plants are reviewed.
