dc.description.abstractThe Koenigsberg Cathedral was built more than six centuries ago but ’ is still settling down. It was built on an Kneiphof island of the Pregel river, which the town of Kneiphof was situated. The island originated from the all deposits of the two streams of Pregel river on the bed of marine and deposits. The Cathedral in its present shape was completed in 1382. Built very soft ground it has withstood all deformations caused by differential settlement during more than six hundred years.eng
