Conceptual models of information systems are used to capture the meaning of an application domain as perceived by someone. A number of methods were proposed to develop conceptual models, but only few deal with reuse of knowledge acquired in the analysis of some particular domain and automatic implementation of conceptual models. Since, in computer science, ontology is used to represent real-world domain knowledge, it can be transformed into a conceptual model and an executable specification consequently. Moreover, ontology expressed in a formal way can be transformed into conceptual model automatically. The meta-models of ontology and conceptual model are analysed and the method of automatic transformation is proposed in this paper. The developed prototype, which realise proposed method, is described in the case study section.
