Informacinės technologijos transporte. Teorijos bei praktikos mokymo prioritetai
Santrauka
This article presents and analyses the main principles of the perception and usage of information technologies in the Lithuanian transport. The aim of the analysis is to determine the contents and teaching methods of information courses for the Lithuanian university students of transport taking into consideration the needs of their future work activity. Developing production, engineering and scientific activity will need original and specialized computer program projects. Who will make them? What are they going to like? What kind of specialists are to be trained already nowadays when practice does not always require theory, when information technologies are mostly used in office work, accounting and communication? Taking all that into account, the main attention should be paid to studying data structure and data basis problems as well as applied problems, including transport. This would enable to perceive and use transport program systems already made and in use, to integrate them into other specialized transport data accumulation. Besides, transport graduates could take part in developing program equipment to create office information.
