Abstract
Leidinyje spausdinami seminaro "Vilniaus miesto geriamojo vandens kokybė ir vandenviečių apsauga", įvykusio 1999 m. gegužės mėn. 12 d. Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitete, moksliniai pranešimai. Straipsniuose nagrinėjami vandenviečių apsaugos užtikrinimo klausimai geriamojo vandens kokybės gerinimo Vilniaus mieste problemos ir perspektyvis. Leidinys skirtas aplinkosaugos specialistams ir plačiajai visuomenei. Environmental Protection Department of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University together with University of Illinois and Geology service of Lithuania, implementing common researches carried out the investigations of drinking water quality and polluting sources in well fields second protection zones. The goal of the seminar - to discuss the results of researches and foresee the following researches of drinking water quality and polluting sources in well fields protection zones. Duting the seminar the results of researches of drinking water quality and polluting sources in well fields, the problems of well fields monitoring and society health protection, juridical and regulating problems, protecting drinking and natural water and the attitude and the influence of local government of the city of Vilnius, solving the problems, mentioned above, were investigated. In this publication the material of reports and at the end the recommendations and resolutions passed during the seminar are presented. The results of the researches as well as the recommendations and resolutions, passed during the seminar will be used preparing the project for the program "FOGERTI".
