Abstract
Recently science literature provides some research on virtual organizations like qualitative new structure of an organization; however, the personnel motivations in these types of entities in comparison with others forms of organizations are not amply investigated. Business arena has become much more demanded that’s why human capital is getting more and more significant for the competing firm. Therefore in order to develop organizations performance successfully, it is important to identify what type of factors motivates virtual workers. Once these factors are defined, the directives need to examine the adequate means which can apply in order to motivate their workers. The research can be one of the ways to obtain detailed and reliable information necessary to identify the means that motivate the employees in the virtual organizations. The results of this type of research can help the directives of virtual organizations to develop good personnel motivation system. The goal of this paper was to study the literature concerning virtual organizations and motivation. Afterwards following the results of this research, create the model of personnel motivation in virtual organizations. In order to achieve this goal, the first part of the paper addresses the concepts of virtual organization, assumptions and circumstances for new form of organizations development are reviewed. The authors describe the research and results of personnel motivation in virtual organizations and assess the motivation factors and summarize the research. Finally following the research results, the paper offers the personnel motivation model for the virtual organization, also there are provided several recommendations for the directives of the virtual organizations which indicate the aspects of motivation they should consider in order to increase the productiveness of their workers.
