Abstract
The main objective of knowledge management is company‘s effective use of knowledge and development, when one type of knowledge becomes another type, enhancing enterprises competitiveness. Effective use of knowledge is guaranteed by managing explicit and tacit knowledge transformation process, modifying and changing three elements of knowledge management - employee, process and technologies. In every single process explicit and tacit knowledge interfaces and, as a result, one type of knowledge becomes another type of knowledge, and vice versa. The explicit knowledge is clearly formulated, documented, easily available and used, while meantime tacit knowledge is comprehensible only by the holder, and is inexpressible. Determining that employees, processes and technologies mostly influence knowledge management, it is necessary to carry out more detailed analysis and determine how and using which methods and means this influence asserts.
