The aim of this paper is to develop a Model of a sustainable distance learning management (MSDLM) in Lithuania by undertaking a complex analysis of micro, meso and macro environment factors affecting the model. The research was performed by studying the expertise of advanced industrial economies and by adapting it to Lithuania by taking into consideration its specific history, development level, needs and traditions. A simulation was undertaken to provide insight into creating an effective environment for the MSDLM by choosing rational micro, meso and macro factors. For this reason the online questionnaire was developed using the newly implemented virtual learning space - MOODLE and additional scripts.eng
