Abstract
We offer you a collective monograph on energy consumption issues, written by an international team of authors. Each author provided his/her approach and shared expertise in different, but very much related areas. Together, all the pieces of this book comprise a rich mosaic reflecting complexity of the energy stewardship attempts. This collective monograph sheds light on such questions as the relationship between economic development and energy demand, consumption of energy and pollution, impact of large infrastructure projects on sustainability, income inequality and energy consumption, energy security concerns, and the best international practices of energy stewardship. On behalf of this international authors’ team, I wish you enjoyable reading. Let us all, in one way, or another, contribute to our sustainable future!
