Die Sprache und Gottes Benennung in der Phänomenologie der Kultur
Abstract
The article deals with the role of language in culture from the perspective of existential phenomenology. The author emphasizes the linguistic character of existence. According to the author, a phenomenon is real as a named thing, i.e. as included in our existential whole. The status of named divine reality is investigated, and a sketch of horizontal theologics is presented. The author asks what place tragic events take in our life if we include them in the existential whole. He tries to resolve the conflict of language and existence with antique paradigms (Aristotle, Plato) and the ideas of hermeneutical phenomenology (Heidegger, Gadamer).
