Magnio oksido sąveikos su sieringu skystuoju kuru (mazutu) ypatumai
Santrauka
To solve the problems related to the complex zero-discharge processing and use of dolomite, it is necessary to estimate and investigate as many as possible spheres of its use and functions. It would allow expanding the volumes of rock extraction and attaining a high economic utility of dolomite. One of such directions of processing is isolation of extremely pure MgO. The article deals with the particularities of such magnesium oxide obtained by a sparing method in the process of calcium-ammonium saltpeter production applying an incomplete production cycle, which may be used for desulphurization of liquid sulphur-bearing fuel (masut). The process of interaction between magnesium oxide and sulphur available in masut proceeds in two stages. The interaction starts with emulsi-fication of masut by adding MgO and water. In the second stage, the further formation of magnesium sulphate is taking place between ions of magnesium hydroxide and suphur, which already have the initial chemical contact. Emulsification of masut with added MgO and water gives a stable emulsion with evenly distributed MgO particles; this facilitates the final interaction of MgO and sulphur while the burning fuel. At emulsification, it is preferable to have the micro particles of MgO surrounded by Mg(OH)2 and MgC03nH20 formed in the process of hydration, since at a high temperature at which the reaction of MgS04 formation proceeds these compounds are more active than MgO. MgO-bearing ashes may be regenerated into MgO and Mg(OH)2 and returned into the process of masut emulsification.
