Geodezinio ir kartografinio pagrindo informacinės sistemos eksploatavimo kompiuteriniais tinklais galimybių tyrimas
Abstract
In the article, investigation of possibilities of using the geodetic and cartographic information system (GKPIS) by computer network is presented. The INTERNET World Wide Web (WWW) computer network for GKPIS service is used. The MicroStation V5.0 and MGEPC V2.0 are the software base for GKPIS. Also, some special MDL (MicroStation Development Language) modules were produced. GKPIS consists of some graphic (MicroStation DGN files) and attribute (DBF files) databases: planimetric control databases (GPS, triangulation, polygonometry sites), heights control databases (benchmarks), gravimetric control databases (gravimetric stations), mapping areas databases, map databases (catalogue of printed maps sheets of different scales and data), photogrammetry areas databases, photo images databases (catalogue of aerial and satellite images), archive databases (catalogue of documents of National Land Survey archive). E-mail is used for information transmission to customers. The requirements to host server and customers hardware/software are disscused.
