Abstract
The cargo transportation control is one of the main tasks in the activity of any enterprise. In the transportation analysis one can distinguish railway transport, water transport, road transport, etc. The efficiency of cargo control greatly depends both on the distribution of the cargo among different types of transport and on the types of transport used, i.e. on the construction of an optimal scehdule of transportation. This article deals with an algorithm of construction of an optimal schedule of the cargo transportation. An algorithm of planning multimodal transportation minimising the cargo handling delays is constructed and analysed. The planning problem is treated as an extreme one and is solved using combinatorial technique.
