Abstract
The article focuses on investments (into e-business technologies), and on outlays associated with them and on results, which can be measured in time horizon. The paper discloses how investments into ebusiness technologies change business. The results of the study, which discloses how actively enterprises are investing into e-business technologies, are presented as well. These results are presented on country, regional and continental levels. The business changes determined by the investments into e-business technologies are modelled by using method of discounted gross operating cash flows. The profile of cash flows was applied to several case studies seeking for practical evidence. The study results show, that in order to develop conditions for profitable investments into e-business technologies, special focus should be given to outlays, associated with new business concept, and to results, which can be measured in time horizon as savings and as net revenues.
