The article deals with the analyses of marginal characteristics of stepping motors. The analysis of literature recourses indicated that stepping motors signify themselves by positive characteristics of control. They are reliable and do not require special conditions for supervision. That is why they are widely applied in the systems of various industrial structures and technological processes requiring automatic control. To analyse the experimental data of stepping motor characteristics there was used a testing bench from Swedish company TERCO. There were analysed dependencies of starting and pull-in torques on the input pulse frequency as well as pull-in torque of the motor and marginal characteristics of steps losses. There were received marginal dependencies of the rotor velocity on the frequency of input pulse, when time of delay differed. By increasing the torque of the motor load there were obtained the curves of the current change in the windings of the stator when the motor operated under normal, half step and wave modes.eng
