In this article the statistical interdependence between the levelling errors in treatment of measurements gained using the authomated level NA 3003 is discussed. For the analysis, the correlation coefficient existing between reading differences on the rods and differences of computed levels is used. The theoretical values of such correlation coefficients are rha = 0,71 and rhp = -0,71. Actually, the calculated values of the correlation coefficients do not correspond to the theoretical values in full magnitude. By the use of readings on the backward rod the mean values of coefficients are rha = 0,70, while using readings of the foreward rod they are rhp = -0,50. Significant difference between the theoretical and practical coefficient values using the readings of the foreward rod shows that the model of error propagation does not correspond to an applied mode of measurements. Also, the calculated value of correlation coefficient between the reading differences on the foreward and backward rods was obtained as rha = 0,30, when the theoretical value of such coefficients is zero. The presented value shows the influence of systematic errors in the electrical system of level readings.
