This paper analyses a method of nonlinear bending beam calculation using a rectangular stress block when the behavior of materials is non–linear. Also, geometrical characteristics of cross–sections have been investigated and presented here when the cross–section stress diagram is triangular and rectangular in tensile and compressive zones, and when the stress diagram is rectangular in the compressive zone and triangular in the compressive zone. Cross–section geometrical characteristics obtained with the help of the proposed method are consistent with the known characteristics. Therefore, the proposed method can be used for calculation of a non–linear bending bar cross–section.eng
