Abstract
Metal pair of engine cast iron – steel was formed. Linear wearing investigation was performed on the test bench. During investigation of jack’s work surface wearing, the work on the test bench was the same as in the carburetor. Shaft torsion velocity was 2000 rev/min. Experiments were made with standard jacks with carbonized work surface and with laser beam treated work surface jacks. Jack’s surface was treated with continuous 3.5 kW power laser beam. Vickers measurement device PMT-3 was used for measurement of hardness and for defining of simulated bases. Wearing was measured in micro-objective by the change of diagonal of the brand. [...].
