In 1993 the first order GPS network of Lithuania was developed. Measure-ments were carried out with 4 Ashtech P-12 receivers. Vectors of the network were produced by software package GPPS, and network was adjusted by FILLNET. Some variants were carried out looking for the most reliable solution. In final decision the Lithuanian first order GPS network was connected with Latvian fundamental GPS network. In adjustment routines the ETRS 89 coordinate system was used.
