Lithuanian fundamental GPS network establishment and it's perspectives

Lithuanian Zero Order Fundamental GPS Network was established according to the international program EUREF BAL 92 and according to it's standards and requirements. Lithuanian fundamental GPS network is tied to the EUREF 89. ETRS 89 was transferred to Lithuania. Lithuanian Zero Order Fundamental GPS Network is a base for the introduction of the Lithuanian State’s Geodetic Coordinate System and GPS network formation. First Order GPS Network was established in the 1993. It consist of 52 stations distributed evenly in the territory of the country. Observations were performed by the P-code Ashtech P12 GPS receivers.
