Seasonal regularities of correlation between hard cosmic rays flux variations and atmospheric pressure change
Abstract
The monitoring of hard cosmic rays flux (HCRF) variations in Vilnius is carried out. The most sensitive correlation between HCRF and atmospheric pressure change in observation station was in the time interval from 9 a.m. up to 2 p.m. For the atmospheric pressure change prediction the above mentioned time interval has to be devided into several subintervals. The atmospheric pressure change prediction in Vilnius in 3-6 days depends on HCRF measurement values in these time subintervals correspondingly. This correlation is more effective in winter. In summer season the same HCRF variations exceed less atmospheric pressure variations, however they well forecast the weather change.
