Economical evaluation of traffic accidents

Abstract
Trying to get rational economically motivated to evaluate traffic safety increasing means it is necessary losts of traffic accidents in currency. In various countries different economical evaluation methods are in use. At present in Lithuanian Republic there is no confirmed methodology allowing to evaluate losts in currency, which experiences our economy due to registrated or not registrated traffic accidents. While creating traffic safety programe of our Republic new methodology of economical evaluation of traffic acidents was proposed. It allows to evaluate registrated accidents in Lt. in which people were injured as well as not registrated accidents, evaluating losts of crashing vehicles and goods. Results are compared with the same indeces, which are used in Germany.
