Tritium volume activity in the Baltic sea water in 1987-1989
Abstract
According to publications and present work data there were two tritium volume activity values appreciable increases in the Baltic Sea Water since 1980: in the first case (1980) - after the atmospheric thermonuclear bomb test in China and in the second case (1987) - after Chernobyl Power Plant accident in 1986. Tritium volume activity values in 1989 became equal to natural background data. It is necessary to point out that atomic energy industry located near the Baltic Sea coast practically has not influence on tritium content in the sea water.
