Ignitionsystem of internal combustion engine generates periodic sequence of ignition pulses. The number of the pulses is about one million in two hours if the speed of four-stroke internal combustion engine crankshaft is about 4 000 rpm. Each spark has influence on successful developing of the engine. The internal combustion engine of automobile works on conditions which change greatly. That is why ignition system of automobile generates sparks of great energy. The system with stored energy in bobbin inductance is mainly in use today. It is not economic unit. Erosion of spark plug electrodes with the system is great. More economic ignition systems have been designed. It is possible to change ignition energy by engine needs. The system sends ignition energy to the plug by two circuits: high (to ionize air-fuel mixture between plug electrodes) and low voltage (to make primary ignition center). The system is economic. It is possible to control spark energy.eng
