New possibilities for rapid predicting the frost resistance of faēade ceramics
Abstract
In recent years the pores and capillaries of a ceramic material were often evaluated by methods of porometry and especially of water absorption and desorption. The article analyses the possibilities of rapid forecasting the service resistance to frost action of ceramic products by empirical equations according to structural parameters. The mechanism of destruction is described in relation to the porous volume reserve and its kinetic parameters of water saturation increment.
