Abstract
In this paper, a problem of an updating the reliability of guy anchors of an existing multi-level guyed antenna mast is considered. Two approaches to the updating are discussed. It is shown how to update the anchor reliability when one has to deal with different levels of uncertainty in random anchor parameters. In practicular, the updating on the basis of geneal statistical data and proof loading test is analysed. Expressions of an anchor failure probability are formulated for either case of the reliability updating. It is shown how to estimate the failure probability by means of a stochastic simulation.
