Widen roads, where there is no possibility to form natural or reinforced slopes we must to install retaining walls. Under difficult circumstances, when you need to transport concrete very far may be used the jet grounting technology. Thus may be formed the gravitational or the cantilever walls obtained cementing soil. The type of the retaining walls is determined by the engineering geological and installation conditions. The walls structural elements must withstand stress caused by soil pressure. Retaining wall reinforcement can be of several types: rigid profiles, small size reinforcement cases and central bars. The paper presents the calculation method of the jet grounting reinforced with the central bars. Reinforcing using central bars are recommended when you need to install a temporary retaining wall, or when bending moment considerably decrease after the construction period.eng
