This paper considers the main positions of one-sided problems and two-sided problems. For one-sided problems the decision method - " distance to an ideal point " is considered. For two-sided problems the distinction between games with rational behaviour and games against nature is made. The main principles of strategy are the following: simple min-max principle, extended min-max principle, Wald’s rule, Savage criterion, Hurwicz’s rule, Laplace’s rule, Bayes’s rule, Hodges-Lehmann rule. The problem of the decision-making matrix transformation method choice is considered: vectorial transformation; linear transformation; linear transformation according to Juettler’s or Stopp’s method; non-linear transformation according to Peldschus. Program LEVI 3.0 - result of cooperation between VGTU and HTKW. This article gives the description of the program and an example of the investment multi-criteria evaluation. To illustrate the application of the described methods we shall consider the problem of investments in construction. In the article the problem of the choice of a building site for commercial objects is considered. It was established that results of the decision depend on the method of the decision of a problem and on the transformation way of a decision-making matrix.
