Abstract
Ferrofluid’s property to change its shape under external magnetic field enables to create new or improve existing products. The extent of strength of ferrofluid to a body is an important characteristic of the liquid, determining the ferrofluid’s application scope. The article researches ferrofluid’s influence to the displacement of the supporting batten as it is exposed to a magnetic force of varying strength. The article is intended for overviewing the fundamental properties of ferrofluid that are specific to ferrofluids and to determine the scope of its application for the purpose of evoking dynamic processes.
