Information about goods transportation in its technological process should be transmitted to the place of destination in the form of certain data structures. It would enable to prepare for receiving and unloading goods, for loading them to other means of transport, for storing, etc. Data structure which serves for describing technological, economical and other data of transportation is a set having interrelated data. Such a set may by called a related set or relation. This article presents the apparatus of mathematical transformations of related sets and shows its practical value by data structure models of goods transportation. The author hopes to stimulate specialists of transport as well as of informatics to take interest in it. Especially those who work in theoretical direction.
