Modeling of thermal - strainal processes in a multipass butt - welded thick -walled designs

Abstract

The paper presents the modeling features of temperature fields and residual strains of multipass butt -welded thick - walled steel designs. The combined model of heat source for three - dimensional thermal - stress analysis using finite elements method has been created.
