The membrane semi-analytical finite elements for modelling of bending with shear of thin-walled beams
Abstract
The semi-analytical finite elements for approximation of three-dimensional state vaiables independently into longitudinal and cross-sectional directions of thin-walled beams are proposed. This approach is able to describe axial deformation, bending as well as bending with shear of thin-walled beams by introducing additional degrees of freedom.
